#introduction I'm a computer scientist, former professor now software engineer @ CZI. My interests are around image processing, software, and physical sciences. I am very into artificial life; "the study of life as it could have been." I was formerly affiliated with Hampshire College, Brandeis University, Harvard Medical, HHMI Janelia Research Campus, UIdaho, DARPA, Max Delbrück Center, and Oak Ridge National Lab.
